JOHNNY LOGAN — A EUROVISION ICON

At the heart of the evening is Johnny Logan, one of the most celebrated figures in Eurovision history.

The original two-time Eurovision winning performer, Johnny brought Ireland to victory with What’s Another Year in 1980 before returning to win again in 1987 with his own composition, Hold Me Now. He went on to write Linda Martin’s 1992 winning song, Why Me? — giving him the remarkable distinction of being behind three Eurovision victories: twice as performer and once again as the songwriter of another winning entry.

Adding even more sparkle to the night, Sean Gilligan Performing Arts will bring the choreography, dancers, glitz and glamour to the stage, helping create a truly spectacular Eurovision celebration.
