
Box Office Agent
Casual Part-Time (day-time)
Location: The Helix, DCU, Glasnevin
Hours per week: part-time/casual
Reporting to: Box Office Manager
JOB DESCRIPTION
Join our team at The Helix Theatre! We’re looking for a friendly and efficient Box Office Agent to provide excellent customer service and support ticket sales for our exciting events.
Key Responsibilities:

Operate a computerised ticketing system (Ticketsolve – training provided).

Assist customers with ticket sales and inquiries.

Build and maintain relationships with regular attendees.

Update and manage the customer database.

Process and reconcile daily transactions.

Ensure compliance with Health and Safety policies.

Support the Box Office Manager with additional tasks as required.

Contribute positively to the Box Office team and the theatre as a whole.

Serve as the main reception for The Helix.

Be available for evening and weekend shifts as needed.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS

Computer literate (Ticketsolve experience preferred but not essential)

Excellent customer service skills

Sales background

Cash handling experience

Strong telephone manner

Positive attitude
DESIRABLE

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Ability to remain calm under pressure

Passion for theatre
